Thanks to our customers, we have been in business for 70 years. Our distant ancestor is said to have been a low-ranking samurai of 100,000 koku in Matsudai Sanada. When the Edo Shogunate came to an end and the Meiji Restoration took place, the family moved to Yokosawa-cho, Nagano, in front of Zenkoji Temple.
After the war, when all of Japan was not rich, the first generation thought that if they could make delicious soba and udon, people would be happy because they would not have to pay for side dishes, so they started a noodle making business.
The taste of the noodles became popular, and in 1950 the business became a specialty, supplying the canteens of nearby facilities. In 1967, we set up a factory in Tomitake, a suburb of Nagano with good water, and established Shinshu Togakushi Soba Co.,Ltd.
With the aim of producing soba that could be eaten by one person a thousand times rather than by a thousand people only once, we continued to make soba every day and before we knew it, we had ten thousand customers all over Japan.
We have only made products that we all feel are delicious to eat every day. In the future, we will continue to make every effort to produce delicious soba without being complacent.
